What is Managing Successful Programmes?
Managing Successful Programmes (MSP®) comprises a set of principles and processes for use when managing a programme. It was devised for the OGC (Office of Government Commerce, UK) and was founded upon best practice and a body of knowledge drawn together from many years of real life experience.
MSP offers organisations a standard and consistent approach to programme management. It provides a framework for senior management to direct the process whilst ensuring that the focus is always maintained upon business objectives. Through project prioritisation and integration, it encourages more efficient use of resources. In all, MSP enables more effective delivery of large programmes and a smooth transition from current to future business operation.
The accreditation and certification for MSP is managed by the APM Group, based in the UK.

MSP Accredited Training
Project Laneways offer comprehensive training in MSP Foundation, Practitioner and Advanced Practitioner levels in affiliation with our training partner, Adaptive Frameworks.
The pass rate in all examinations is well above the industry average and our standard of delivery means that our delegates will pass the MSP Foundation Examination. We offer this as a guarantee and should a delegate be unsuccessful in the Foundation exam, free coaching will be offered followed by a second sitting of the exam. (Please note that this is different from the normal Project Laneways Guarantee which covers both the Foundation and the Practitioner)
MSP Foundation, Practitioner and Advanced Practitioner Fees
- The MSP Foundation course is $1,990+GST
- The MSP Practitioner, including the Foundation course, is $2,720+GST
- The MSP Advanced Practitioner course is $1,050+GST (note that passes at the Foundation and Practitioner level are prequisites for this course and they are not included in this price)

- Comprehensive course notes

- Sample exam papers
- Text book: Managing Successful Programmes published by the OGC.
- APMG Foundation exam (Foundation and Practitioner Courses)
- APMG Practitioner exam (Practitioner and Practitioner Upgrade Courses)
- Shoulder satchel
- Stationery
- Refreshments, including morning/afternoon tea and lunch on full days.
The MSP Advanced Practitioner training course fees include: one-on-one tuition, course notes, stationery and the Advanced Practitioner examination. The MSP Advanced Practitioner course is completed through one-on-one coaching for 4 hours out of the classroom followed by a 3 hour examination.

The MSP Advanced Practitioner is designed for practicing Programme Managers with some experience or for those who have significant experience of programme environments and may be moving into the programme management area. Delegates must have the MSP Practitioner Level qualification, which itself requires a Pass at the Foundation level. The MSP Advanced Practitioner course is completed through one-on-one coaching for 4 hours out of the classroom followed by a 3 hour examination.
